1uz turbo noises inbound, only the finest China dashcam audio too, f igured s omebody might enjoy this.
E verytime I’m in the stock sc,(everyday) I think of this and remember how good it will be to go turbo again.

Tu rbos in the engine bay(I will have to buy a welder and learn) , int ercooled, knock gauge(which I bought but never installed), oil cooler or at least a stabilizer, some form of engine management past the stock ecu probably one of those units that modifies signals for timing.
Co nsidering supercharging but it wont fit under the hood, will require I make some intake to mate the throttle body to the charger inlet(welding aluminum sounds scary), parasitic loss , not easy to intercool.
E ssentially I want to build it cleaner then last time(mmmmmaybe have some resale value)
Im kinda all over the place about what it will become but I know a few things, I t will have an interior with sound deadening and a stereo, i want around 400 reliable whp, suspension will happen before power, and MUFFLERS this time.

As someone who just got bought sound deadening to try to quiet down the exhaust/road noise, I hear you. Build version 2.0!!

Haha no exhaust at all would definitely give me the opposite problem. But yeah its that the system is stock. I am used to the louder exhaust and no roof on my Miata so it's way too quiet in the Subaru. It's enjoyable having zero highway noise from the exhaust but I can't even hear it in a tunnel so it has to go at some point in the future.
